Purvi Shah

Purvi Shah is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and financial reporting. Currently serving as a Board Member at VCBC since January 2021, Purvi has held the position of Partner and CFO at defy.vc since August 2017. Prior to this, Purvi worked at General Catalyst for over a decade, where responsibilities included Fund Controller and Fund Manager. Additional experience includes a role as Senior Financial Reporting Specialist at Investors Bank & Trust and as a Financial Reporting Analyst at State Street Research. Purvi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a focus on Finance from Bentley University.
