Shirley Rom

Shirley Rom has over 16 years of work experience, starting as a Project Manager and Statistician at Marketest in 2005. Shirley then worked as a Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and Lab Manager at Tel Aviv University from 2006 to 2009. Following this, Shirley worked at TZUR User Experience Design as a UX Expert and then as a Senior UX Expert from 2009 to 2011. From 2011 to 2018, they worked at LivePerson in various roles, including Senior UX Expert, UX Manager, and UX Researcher Lead. In 2018, Shirley joined Google as a UX Researcher and worked there until 2023. Currently, they are the Head of Product Design, UX Research, and UX Writing at vcita.

Shirley Rom obtained a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev between the years of 2001 and 2004. Shirley went on to pursue a Master's degree in Cognitive Psychology at Tel Aviv University, which they completed between the years of 2006 and 2009.
