Laurie Montanaro Lcsw (Campbell)

Laurie (Campbell) Montanaro, LCSW has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Laurie currently serves as the Director of Mental Health Clinic Services at VCS Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this role, Laurie worked at MHA of Rockland from September 2019 to May 2023 as a Supervisor of Youth Community-Based Services. From 2010 to 2019, they had multiple positions at The Bridge, including PROS Program Director, Clinical Services Coordinator, and PROS Service Coordinator. Laurie also worked as a Member Services Coordinator at Rockland County YMCA from March 2008 to November 2010. Laurie gained valuable experience as a Social Work Intern and Volunteer Counselor at VCS, Inc. from April 2009 to September 2010, and as a Social Work Intern at Mental Health Association of Rockland - Recovery Services from September 2008 to May 2009. Before entering the field of social work, Laurie worked as an Editorial Assistant at Marie Claire from July 2004 to December 2007. Laurie also held leadership roles as President and Founder of the Syracuse University Newhouse Alumni Club of Metropolitan New York from November 2003 to June 2007. Laurie began their career as a workstudy at Newhouse CDC from 1999-2003.

Laurie (Campbell) Montanaro, LCSW completed a Bachelor of Art degree with a concentration in Magazine Journalism & Psychology at Syracuse University from 1999 to 2003. Following this, they pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at Hunter College from 2008 to 2010, specializing in the field of Social Work.
