Edward Watkins

Edward Watkins has extensive experience in healthcare and communications, currently serving as the Manager of the Communications Department at VCU Health since April 1998. In addition to this role, Edward has held various positions at VCU Health, including Program Coordinator for Supplemental Staffing and Central Operations Manager for Patient Transportation. Edward began professional training as an EMT specialist and lab specialist in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Edward completed a Graduate Practicum in Counseling at Longwood University in late 2017 while pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Liberty University, which was earned in 2018. Prior experience includes working as an EMT-Cardiac Technician at Davis Ambulance Inc from 1995 to 1998. Edward holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Hampden-Sydney College, awarded in 1996, and graduated from Woodberry Forest School in 1992.
