James Siegel

James Siegel is the current Chief Financial Officer for VCU Health System. Prior to this, they served as Vice President of Finance & Budget for Virginia Premier from January 2019 to December 2020. Siegel has also held the position of Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis for Bon Secours Health System from January 2001 to December 2018. Their experience also includes working as an Audit Manager for KPMG from January 2000 to December 2001 and as a Senior Auditor for the Virginia Auditor of Public Accounts from January 1995 to December 2000. Siegel began their professional career with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment where they served as a Sergeant (E5), MOS 19D20, Cavalry Scout from January 1990 to December 1993.

James Siegel has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Longwood University, with a focus in Accounting. James is also certified as a Certified Internal Auditor from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc., and as a Certified Public Accountant from the Virginia Board of Accountancy.

Their manager is Arthur L. Kellermann, SVP, VCU Health Sciences & CEO, VCU Health System. They are on a team with Paula Henderson - CHRO, VCU Health System, Michael Elliott - Chief Operating Officer, VCU Health System, and Sheryl Garland - Chief of Health Impact, VCU Health System.
