Michael Clarke has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Michael started their career in 2012 as a Research Intern at the Coalition of Occupied Homes in Foreclosure, where they gained insights into the foreclosure process and the Greater Boston housing market. In 2013, they continued to explore the foreclosure industry as a Foreclosure Intern at The Coalition of Occupied Homes In Foreclosure, conducting research on foreclosure laws and identifying homes for potential acquisition.

In 2014, Clarke worked as a Policy Intern at the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS), expanding their understanding of the financial regulatory industry. Michael researched and designed a case study competition on the long-term viability of community banks, which received recognition and publications. Michael also attended Senate and House hearings to compose summary reports for CSBS white papers and utilized Bloomberg for data analysis.

In 2017, Clarke also served as a Research Analyst Contractor at STEER Partners LLC, contributing to research projects. Most recently, they have been working at VDC Research since 2018. Initially, they held the position of Research Associate and later transitioned to the role of Research Analyst. Their responsibilities at VDC Research include conducting research and analysis to produce valuable insights and reports.

In 2015, they briefly attended The University of the West Indies, Mona, focusing on Economics.
