Cord Schlötelburg began their work experience as a Research Associate at Charité in 1997, where they were involved in teaching and training. In 2002, they joined VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH as a Senior Manager, supporting and organizing innovation and technology for various clients. In 2010, Cord became the Director of VDE Health and VDE DGBMT at VDE Verband der Elektrotechnik Elektronik Informationstechnik e.V., an internationally active technology organization. Throughout their career, Cord has developed expertise in the fields of healthcare, innovation, and technology.
Cord Schlötelburg completed their education with a PhD in Molecular Microbiology from Charité, where they attended from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, they earned a degree in Biotechnology as a Graduate Engineer from Berlin Technical University of Applied Sciences, which they pursued from 1992 to 1997.
