Dr. Ralf Petri is the Geschäftsführer of the Energietechnische Gesellschaft (ETG) and DK CIGRE, as well as the Abteilungsleiter for Mobility at VDE e.V. They have extensive experience in the electric mobility sector, having held roles such as Projektleiter at both AUDI AG and Robert Bosch Battery Systems LLC. Previously, they conducted doctoral research focused on technology-based material cost modeling for lithium-ion battery cells in electric mobility at Volkswagen Group China. Dr. Petri earned a Dr.-Ing. from Technische Universität Braunschweig and an MS in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, complemented by a management program at Management School St.Gallen, which they are currently pursuing.
