Christiane Ploetz

Christiane Ploetz is a Senior Consultant at VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH since October 2000, specializing in innovation and science for sustainability, with expertise in environmental crime, plastics in the environment, and sustainability in science. Previously, Christiane served as a Desk Officer at the Ministry for Education and Research from September 2011 to February 2013, contributing to a national science communication campaign on sustainability. Christiane founded Environment & Communication in March 1997, focusing on corporate communication and sustainability processes. Additionally, experience as a Scientific Assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry involved supporting prominent research efforts. Educational background includes a Diploma in Geo-Ecology from the University of Bayreuth and an exchange study at Lancaster University.
