Ger Fontijn

Ger Fontijn has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Ger began their career in 1985 as an Analytical Engineer at Philips Research. Ger then worked as a Process Engineer at Philips Optical Disc Mastering from 1990 to 1992, followed by a role as a Process Engineer at Philips Flat Panel Display from 1992 to 1998.

Fontijn then joined Philips Healthcare in 1998, where they held several positions including Engineer Lithography, Project Manager, Engineering Manager, and Product Manager. During their time at Philips Healthcare, they were responsible for managing engineering groups, setting up performance indicators, and overseeing product management.

In 2010, Fontijn joined Polymer Vision as a Project Manager before moving to NTS-Group in 2012. At NTS-Group, they held roles such as Project Manager, Program Manager, and Director of Business Development USA. Ger played a key role in establishing the business line of Optical Testing for the 3D sensing market.

Fontijn then joined NTS-Group in 2018 as a Product Manager, where they set up the business line of Optical Testing for the 3D sensing market, defining business plans and roadmaps.

Currently, Fontijn is with VDL Enabling Technologies Group (ETG) since 2019. Ger has worked as a Business Manager and later as the Director of Business Development, with their most recent role being the Director of Business Development USA.

Throughout their career, Fontijn has demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in business development and project management.

Ger Fontijn completed their Bachelor's Degree in Fysics from Hogere Technische School Heerlen from 1980 to 1985.
