Praveen Kumar Pakkiri Samy

Praveen Kumar Pakkiri Samy is a Mechatronics System Architect at VDL Enabling Technologies Group (ETG) since September 2023. Previously, Praveen completed a PhD candidacy at the University of Groningen from May 2021 to April 2023 and worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Plaex Technologies in early 2021. Experience also includes a role as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Twente, focusing on the development of a real-time gait phase estimator, and serving as a Research and Development Intern at Ambroise, where a novel mechanism for mechanical brace automation was designed. Earlier roles involved work as a Mechatronics Engineer at Hi Precision Tools & Dies, and an internship at PNEU-TECH Industries Private Limited concentrating on PLC programming. Praveen holds a Master's degree in Systems and Control from the University of Twente and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechatronics from SRM University, along with a diploma in Industrial Automation.
