Peter Maddocks

Peter Maddocks currently serves as VP of Engineering at VDURA since October 2023. Previously, Peter held the position of VP of Engineering at Panasas until May 2024, and prior to that, served as Sr. Director Engineering in Storage Systems at Seagate Technology, where responsibilities included leading technical and business roadmap direction and driving business growth through innovative solutions. Peter also led a Software-as-a-Service initiative for IoT Data Orchestration and managed a global firmware development team for Seagate storage systems. Earlier experience includes significant roles at Dot Hill Systems as Sr. Director of Product Management and Director of Solutions Engineering, contributing to successful technology acquisitions and business growth. Additionally, Peter spent over a decade at Hewlett-Packard as a Storage Software Architect and Section Manager, focusing on enterprise NAS and SAN software development. Peter earned a degree in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology.
