Jane Byford

Jane Byford has extensive work experience in the legal field. Jane currently works at VWV as the Head of Higher Education, a position they have held since January 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Joint Head of Higher Education at VWV from January 2019 to January 2020. Before joining VWV, Jane worked at Veale Wasbrough Vizards as a Partner starting in June 2015. Jane had an even longer tenure at SGH Martineau where they served as Partner & Head of Employment from September 1992 to June 2015. Jane's career began at Martineau Johnson as a Trainee Solicitor from September 1992 to September 1994.

Jane Byford attended Shenley Court School from 1980 to 1987. Jane then studied at the University of Leicester from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. Following this, they attended Birmingham Polytechnic from 1991 to 1992 to complete their Law Society Finals.
