Marc Eggimann has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Marc began their career in 2000 as an Electronic Engineer at Ascom Business Systems AG, where they contributed to the development of a dual-mode GSM-Satellite telephone. Marc then moved on to Hy-Tech AG, where they served as the Head of Development and later as a Project Manager, overseeing the development of sensor technology products. In 2009, Eggimann joined BALLUFF AG as the CEO, leading the company with a focus on corporate innovation and technology development. Marc also held the position of Director of Corporate Innovation Management at BALLUFF AG, responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the international technology innovation network. In 2017, Eggimann became the CEO of VEBO Genossenschaft, a company focused on professional and social inclusion for individuals with disabilities. Marc also served as the Chairman of the Board at Kisag AG, a subsidiary of VEBO Genossenschaft. Additionally, Eggimann has been a member of the Board of Trustees at Stiftung Lebensart, an independent foundation providing services for people with disabilities and the elderly.
Marc Eggimann completed their education at various institutions. Marc began in 1999 at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, where they pursued a degree in Dipl. El.-Ing. FH, specializing in Abendtechnikum. Marc attended this institution until 2004. Afterward, Eggimann attended Berner Fachhochschule BFH from 2005 to 2008, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on General Management. Lastly, in 2016, they participated in the Lehrgang Verwaltungsrat program at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
