John McClure

John McClure has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. John started their career in the US Army as a Sergeant from 1989 to 1996. Afterwards, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Intelsat, where they planned, designed, and implemented content delivery over satellite solutions. At Harmonic, John served as a Systems Engineer from 2000 to 2002. John then worked as a Network Engineering Consultant before joining SkyStream Networks as a Sales Engineer in 2004. After that, they became a Staff Systems Engineer at Scientific Atlanta, providing sales support for large-scale video headends and delivery networks. John joined IneoQuest Technologies in 2007 as a Senior Sales Engineer, where they deployed end-to-end video quality assurance solutions for service providers. In 2010, they joined Cisco Systems as a Systems Engineer Sales until 2015. From 2015 to 2019, John worked at Concurrent Technology Inc., where they held various roles including Lead Sales Engineer and Customer Solutions Architect. Currently, they are the Director of Sales Engineering at Vecima Networks Inc.

John McClure attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1987 to 1989, where they studied Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. In 1989, they enrolled in the US Army Signal School to pursue MOS 29Y and 31S-1C, but did not obtain a degree.
