Mischa Baert

Mischa Baert has a diverse and extensive work experience in various managerial and leadership roles. Mischa is currently serving as the General Manager/Managing Director at Veco Precision, a world-leading manufacturer of micro-precision parts. In this role, they ensure the company meets customers' specifications and demands by maintaining high standards of performance in Electroforming.

Prior to this, Mischa worked at Fokker Aerostructures B.V., where they held several positions including Site Director Hoogeveen, General Manager in Turkey, Senior Program Manager, Sr. Marketing & Sales Manager, and Production Manager. In these roles, they demonstrated exceptional skills in managing growing factories, cross-cultural and language barriers, team-building, and relocating facilities.

Before joining Fokker Aerostructures B.V., Mischa worked at Stork Fokker Elmo as the Manager Transition Low Cost Facility, leading a multidisciplinary team and transferring work into a low-cost production facility in China. Mischa also started their career at Stork NV as a Management Trainee.

Mischa Baert received a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Measure & Control from Delft University of Technology from 1991 to 1998. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1991, Mischa Baert attended College Hageveld and completed a degree in Atheneum, covering subjects such as Dutch, English, Mathematics (B), Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Biology, and Economics (I).
