Nidal Zoghbi

Head of Sales - APAC & Middle East at Vectara

Nidal Zoghbi has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Most recently, they have worked at Vectara as the Head of Sales - APAC & Middle East since July 2023. Prior to that, they served as an Advisor at Easyflow.io, providing advisory services on their GTM strategy.

From 2012 to 2023, Nidal was with Simply Pharmacy Group, where they held the position of Chief Negotiator and later, as an Advisor. In these roles, they played a crucial role in transforming multiple stores into a corporate business, establishing centralized services, implementing mentorship programs, and launching new revenue streams.

At Oracle, Nidal was the Sales Director for SaaS, while at Salesforce.com, they spearheaded enterprise sales in Singapore and achieved sales records in banking and financial services. At NetSuite, they launched the regional headquarters in Singapore and consistently met sales targets. And, at Computer Associates, Nidal began their career as an Inside Sales Representative and was later promoted to a field sales role.

Throughout their career, Nidal has demonstrated a strong track record of sales excellence, strategic leadership, and business transformation.

Nidal Zoghbi's education history includes multiple degrees and certifications. From 1995 to 1998, Nidal attended the American University of Beirut and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology. Later, from 2004 to 2010, Nidal pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Management & International Business from the University of Technology Sydney. In 2015 and 2016, Nidal also completed a course titled "Understanding Terrorism and the Terrorist Threat" offered by the University of Maryland through Coursera, focusing on the study of terrorism and responses to terrorism (START) in the field of social sciences. Subsequently, in 2017, Nidal completed another Coursera online course titled "Terrorism and Counterterrorism: Comparing Theory and Practice" from Leiden University.

In addition to the academic qualifications, Nidal has obtained various certifications.
