Michal Koor

Michal Koor has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Michal co-founded and served as the CEO of VECTARY, a 3D and Augmented Reality design platform that allows users to create and edit 3D/AR content in a browser-based tool. Michal also co-founded FORMLAB, which is a source for innovative prototyping, design, and short-run manufacturing. Additionally, Michal worked as a Senior Industrial Designer at Snap to Grid, a product development company, where they provided a full range of services from research to final products. Michal founded and served as the Product Owner of Documeo, a company they started in 2010 and sold in 2014. Michal also co-founded and served as the Product Owner of DESIGNBY.sk, a virtual portal supporting design professionals and students in Slovakia. Lastly, Michal co-founded Foresight Media, a company that provided audiovisual systems integration and advanced solutions, which they sold in 2008.

Michal Koor completed their Master of Arts (MA) in Industrial Design at Vysoká škola výtvarných umení v Bratislave from 2005 to 2010. In 2007, they also studied Sustainable Design at Taideteollinen korkeakoulu - Konstindustriella högskolan for one year. Additionally, in 2004 and 2005, they attended Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave and studied Industrial Design.
