Marco André F.

Marco André F. has extensive work experience in the information technology field. Marco André has held leadership positions in various companies and has consistently taken on increasing levels of responsibility. At VectivBio, they served as the Head of Information Technology, reporting directly to the COO and overseeing IT services, budget, workflow, vendors, and global IT strategy. Marco André also held a similar role at Therachon, reporting to the CMO. Prior to these roles, Marco André F. worked as an ESX, Backup, and SAN Architect at Eidgenössisches Departement für auswärtige Angelegenheiten EDA and as a Global Technical Lead of Backup and Disaster Recovery Services at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR). Additionally, they worked as a Sr. System Engineer and CEO at TechNet IT GmbH, as the Leiter der Informationstechnologie (CIO) at FC Köniz, and as a CEO at FriaSports by COURAGEFRONTIER, UNIPESSOAL, LDA, and Frias Information Technology Network. Marco André also gained experience as a Sr. System Engineer at Parlamentsdienste Bund CH and Netlan IT Solutions, where they also served as a Project Manager. Marco André F. has a diverse skill set and has contributed to the improvement of IT infrastructure, implementation of new technologies, and global standardization across different teams and organizations.

Marco André F. completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Economy Computer Science High School, which they attended from 2003 to 2007. During the same period, they also studied English, Economy, Information Technology, and Business Management at Economy Information Technology School Switzerland. Additionally, they obtained certifications including MCP from Microsoft and a Bachelor of Information Technology from Universidade de Coimbra. Marco André also holds certifications from VMware, including VCP6, vSphere 6.0 Foundations, and vSphere 6.5 Foundations.
