Kristina Dayback

Kristina Dayback, CMA has a strong background in fund administration and investor services. Kristina began their career as a Fund Accountant at VMS Fund Administration in 2008, where they worked until 2011. Kristina then joined Apex Fund Services as a Fund Accountant in 2011 before returning to VMS Fund Administration in 2012 as a Senior Accountant. In 2013, they were promoted to Manager - Fund Services at VMS Fund Administration, where they managed a team and administered Funds and entities.

In 2018, Kristina joined Carta as a Director - Investor Services - Fund Admin, where they co-founded the fund admin offering, expanded the team, and achieved high employee satisfaction scores. Kristina later took on the role of Director - Investor Services - Operations, where they built and scaled the Operations team and implemented strategies for expansion and improvement. In 2021, they became the Director, IS Scoping and Operations, where they developed and standardized the scoping process and revamped the pricing calculator. Finally, in 2022, they became the Strategic Account Executive at Carta.

Most recently, Kristina has accepted a position as the Chief Operating Officer at Vector AIS, starting in 2023. Their various roles throughout their career have allowed their to develop expertise in fund administration, operations, strategic account management, and team management.

Kristina Dayback, CMA, holds a Masters of Accountancy degree with a concentration in Fraud and Forensic Accounting from Rider University, which they obtained in 2010. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the same university in 2008. In 2013, they also obtained the Certified Management Accountant certification from the Institute of Management Accountants.
