Vik Ghai has extensive experience in various industries, including physical security, healthcare, and software solutions. Vik is the Co-Founder and CTO of Vector Flow, a Data-Driven Automation Platform in the Physical Security industry. Prior to this, they served on the Board of Directors for Child Advocates of Silicon Valley, where they worked on driving digital transformation to support foster children. Vik also was an Operating Committee Member at InfraGard, facilitating communication and education between the private sector and the FBI. Additionally, Vik Ghai worked as a General Partner at Nexgen Capital Ventures, focusing on investments in healthcare and security. Vik co-founded Quantum Secure, where they served as the CTO and played a significant role in creating the Physical Identity & Access Management product category. Before that, they were the Director of Solution Engineering at Versant and co-founded Mokume Software, which was acquired by Versant. Vik Ghai began their career as a Management & Technology Consultant at Veneto Group, specializing in SAP R/3 solutions. Vik also co-founded RapidReceipt, a digital receipt solution for retailers. Vik Ghai's diverse work experience showcases their expertise in strategy development, product architecture, and team management.
Vik Ghai pursued their education in a systematic and rigorous manner. Vik began their higher education journey in 1992 at Drexel University, where they earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) in 1997. After gaining a solid foundation in this field, they further enhanced their knowledge and skills by enrolling in the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Vik undertook this program from 2002 to 2004 and successfully earned their Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in General Management. Through their educational experiences, Vik Ghai has demonstrated a commitment to both technical and managerial expertise.
