Juan C. Rios

Juan C. Rios has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Juan C. started their career as a Sales Manager at Valparaissos Farms LLC, where they acquired new accounts and handled tax preparations. Juan C. then moved on to AIESEC United States, where they served as the Vice President of Incoming Exchange and later as the VP Sponsorships for the Summer National Conference 2013.

After that, Juan joined DMC Atlanta, Inc. as an Account Manager, responsible for acquiring new accounts and marketing DirecTV's portfolio. Juan C. also had a brief stint at AIESEC Puerto Rico as the National Support Team Legal.

Following their time at AIESEC, Juan took on the role of Emerging Markets Manager at Valparaissos Farms, where they worked until 2014. Juan C. then joined BMI BankSys Management Incorporated as an Account Executive Intern, focusing on new accounts acquisitions and providing communication solutions for customers.

For the past several years, Juan has been with Vector Global Logistics. Juan C. started as an Operations/Inside Sales Account Executive before transitioning to Key Account Manager for Latin America. In this role, they managed freight movement, ensured high-level service to clients, coordinated shipments, and closed new accounts. Currently, Juan holds the position of Commercial Director LATAM, where they continue to oversee operations and playing a key role in the expansion of Vector Mexico.

Juan C. Rios attended Colegio Andino - Deutsche Schule Bogotá where they obtained their High School Diploma. Following this, they enrolled at Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business and pursued two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees. From 2010 to 2015, they focused on Finance, General, and from 2011 to 2014, they studied Marketing/Marketing Management, General.

Additionally, Juan C. Rios has obtained several certifications, including Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air - Initial as per the IATA Dangerous Goods Training Guidance 7.3 (supervised assessment) from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in May 2023. Juan C. also earned a Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership certification from LinkedIn in June 2021. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in IATA - CARGA INTERNACIONAL BASICO and IATA - MERCANCIAS PELIGROSAS BASICO from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in February 2021 and January 2021, respectively. In November 2020, they received Lean Six Sigma Champion Certification, Lean Six Sigma Lean Lean Management Certification, and Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from LSSI. Juan C. also holds a Verified International Academic Qualifications certification from World Education Services, obtained in March 2020. Lastly, they obtained a ServSafe® certification from the US Department of Health in March 2010.
