Aida Mirebrahimi Tafreshi

Aida Mirebrahimi Tafreshi is currently an AI Education Intern at the Vector Institute, beginning in January 2023. Previous experience includes serving as a Computational Neuroscience Teaching Assistant at Neuromatch and teaching Python programming to 100 eighth-grade students at the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (Sampad). Aida has also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at SabaIdea and taught signal processing and programming at the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM) while co-mentoring student research groups with affiliations to prestigious institutions like MIT, NIMH, and Oxford University. Additionally, Aida was a Software Security Teaching Assistant at Shariaty Technical and Vocational University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering, a Master of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from Western University, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Neural Computation at Carnegie Mellon University.
