David Magda

David Magda is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in systems administration and engineering. Currently serving as a Scientific Systems Administrator at the Vector Institute since December 2021, David previously held the position of Senior Unix Systems Administrator at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research from May 2011 to December 2021. Prior roles include System Administrator and Infrastructure Systems Administrator at Autodesk, Unix Administrator at Rogers Communications Inc., and Systems Engineering at Mpathix Inc. David began a career in technology as an Electrical/Computer Specialist (Co-op) at Ryerson University, where a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with a Computer Specialization was obtained from 1997 to 2001.
