Luis Seco

Luis Seco serves as the Chief Executive Officer at FEISHU (SHANGHAI) TECHNOLOGY CO. LTD since January 2025. Additionally, Seco holds positions as an Affiliate Professor at Vector Institute and as Chair at The Fields Institute For Research In Mathematical Sciences since June and April 2023, respectively. Since May 1996, Seco has directed RiskLab at the University of Toronto, which provides research and training services to industry and students globally. Seco has been a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Director of the Mathematical Finance Program at the University of Toronto since July 1992. Formerly, Seco was President & CEO at Sigma Analysis & Management Ltd from January 2001 to September 2022 and served as Director at Fields CQAM from July 2019 to June 2020. Seco was also a member of the Toronto Steering Committee of PRMIA from January 2005 to January 2012 and worked as a Bateman Instructor at Caltech from July 1989 to August 1992. Seco earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Princeton University (1985-1989) and a Bachelor's in Mathematics from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid (1983-1985).
