Michael Hoffman

Michael Hoffman is a distinguished academic and researcher with extensive experience in bioinformatics and genomics. Currently serving as Chair and Senior Scientist at University Health Network since October 2013, Michael also holds positions as Associate Professor at the University of Toronto and Faculty Affiliate at the Vector Institute. Prior roles include Senior Fellow at the University of Washington and Predoctoral Fellow at EMBL-European Bioinformatics Institute, where methods for studying functional genomics and transcription factor binding were developed. Michael's educational background includes a PhD in Biology from the University of Cambridge and a B.S./B.A. in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin.
