Catherine Bladen

Catherine Bladen, PhD, currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Vector Laboratories, Inc. since June 2024. Prior to this role, Catherine held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Absolute Biotech from January 2022 to June 2024 and at Absolute Antibody from January 2015 to January 2022. Earlier experience includes significant research and leadership roles at the Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Institute of Genetic Medicine at Newcastle University as a Senior Research Fellow and Registry Manager, as well as positions at various institutes focusing on biological sciences and molecular medicine. Catherine earned a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and a BSc (Honours) in Genetics from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
