Fred Janssen

Fred Janssen serves as the Chief Information Officer at Vector Logistics since April 2025. Previously, Fred held various senior roles at DSV - Global Transport and Logistics from July 2016 to March 2025, including Senior Director for Sub-Saharan Africa and Senior Director for Africa and the Middle East. Fred's extensive experience at UTi Worldwide (now part of DSV A/S) spanned from April 2009 to June 2016, where responsibilities included Divisional Director of Pharma IT and leadership of corporate strategy program management. Fred's career began at Rubico, where responsibilities included overseeing technical product development from 1995 to 2002, followed by positions focusing on process engineering and certification at Systemiclogic and Nedcor. Fred holds multiple degrees, including an MSC in Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Bcom Honours in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from North-West University.
