Vector Psychometric Group, LLC (VPG) is a psychometric consulting and software company dedicated to providing clear direction to people trying to answer important and difficult questions.

We provide business, government, and academic organizations with the tools, information, and software they need to answer seemingly unanswerable questions. We do this by relying on scientifically proven techniques, rather than on inadequate data, leaps of faith, or gut feelings.

Our extensive experience with both psychometric and statistical problems enables us to offer a wide range of consulting services to our clients. In the past, we have used psychometric and statistical methods to: help clients identify and/or refine questions, develop and evaluate scales, link extant scales to a common metric, perform literature reviews, provide quality control and auditing, design studies, and prepare reports, posters, and manuscripts. Our products, which currently include an item response theory (IRT) software package (flexMIRT) and a web-based data collection system with the ability to assemble and support adaptive tests (webCAT), provide clients with cutting-edge psychometric applications that are powerful, flexible, and user-friendly.
