Dmitriy Beryoza

Dmitriy Beryoza is a Principal Security Researcher at Vectra AI since August 2019, specializing in security threats across on-prem and cloud environments, while also assisting development teams in threat detection design and maintaining internal tools. Previously, Dmitriy spent over 18 years at IBM, taking on various roles including Penetration Tester on the X-Force Ethical Hacking Team, where significant contributions included identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities and producing numerous public CVEs. Earlier career experience encompasses leading technical teams in high-performance database research, providing consultancy services in web application development, and delivering educational software solutions. Dmitriy holds a PhD in Computer Science from Florida International University and both an MS and BASc in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, respectively, from Rochester Institute of Technology.
