Angila Retherford

Angila Retherford has vast experience in environmental and corporate sustainability. Angila worked as the VP of Environmental and Corporate Responsibility at CenterPoint Energy since February 2019. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Environmental Affairs and Corporate Sustainability at Vectren from 2015 to 2019. Angila also held various positions at Vectren, including Director of Environmental Affairs and Corporate Sustainability and Environmental Counsel, from 2001 to 2015. Before joining Vectren, they worked as an Associate Attorney at Bamberger, Foreman, Oswald and Hahn, LLP from 1998 to 2001. Angila's early career includes roles as Sr Bureau Counsel at the Indiana Department of Natural Resources from 1993 to 1998 and Deputy Attorney General at the Office of the Indiana Attorney General from 1991 to 1993.

Angila Retherford completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology and Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington, which they attended from 1983 to 1988. Later, from 1989 to 1991, they pursued their Doctor of Law - JD degree at the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law.
