Alexander Poensgen

Alexander Poensgen serves as the Chief Technology Officer at VEDA GmbH since October 2024, having previously held the CTO position at LeasingMarkt.de from April 2020 to October 2024. Prior roles include Head of Engineering at Trusted Shops, where the focus was on software development and DevOps for a new feedback platform utilizing AWS services. Alexander also served as CTO and Head of Software Development at Sedo GmbH, leading the development of platforms for domain trading and parking, modernizing infrastructure with Docker and Kubernetes. Earlier experience includes managing the development of a high-performance database at ParStream and overseeing product development and software engineering at acoreus AG. Alexander began a career at Accenture, managing projects in individual and packaged software for banks. Alexander Poensgen earned a Diplom-Informatiker degree in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen between 1989 and 1995.
