Nitin Gaikwad

Nitin Gaikwad holds significant experience in the power and instrumentation sectors, currently serving as Deputy Head Power Plant at Vedanta | Sesa Goa Iron Ore since June 2021, while also holding a long-term position as Deputy Manager at Vedanta Limited since December 2008. Nitin has expertise in the maintenance of control and instrumentation for WHRB boilers and turbine systems utilizing advanced DCS technology. Prior roles include Executive at Wärtsilä, focusing on commissioning power plant instrumentation, and Instrumentation Engineer at Malu Paper Mills Ltd, where Nitin successfully oversaw the commissioning of a boiler and turbine automation system. Nitin's educational background includes a Master of Technology in Digital Manufacturing from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, a Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management from Goa Institute of Management, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation Engineering from Government College of Engineering Chandrapur.
