Bhupesh Sharma

Bhupesh Sharma has over three decades of experience in the mining and metallurgy sectors, currently serving as Associate General Manager at Hindustan Zinc Limited since March 1989. In this role, Bhupesh leads a mineral beneficiation plant at the Rampura Agucha mines, overseeing processes that have significantly enhanced productivity and recovery rates. Previous positions at Hindustan Zinc include General Manager, Senior Manager, Manager, and Senior Engineer, where Bhupesh managed operations that improved throughput and recovery in various plants. Earlier career experience includes serving as Quality Control Engineer at Modi Steels Ltd. Bhupesh holds a Master’s degree in Physical Metallurgy and a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, both from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
