Idan Tovi

Idan Tovi has a diverse work experience in engineering and leadership roles. Idan is currently the VP of Engineering at Vee, a position they have held since May 2022. Prior to this, Idan worked at PayU as the Head of Engineering Israel from May 2019 to May 2021, where they also established and led the SRE group and implemented observability solutions for the company's platforms. Idan then moved to ZOOZ and served as the VP of Engineering from May 2021 to May 2022, while also holding the role of Head of SRE. At ZOOZ, they also worked as an Engineering Manager, overseeing a team of software engineers, and as an Engineering Team Leader, leading the development of a new product API. Before their roles in the private sector, Idan gained valuable experience in the Israel Defense Forces, where they held the positions of Application Security Team Leader and BSM Team Leader, displaying their ability to lead teams and manage large-scale projects.

Idan Tovi earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo, from 2006 to 2009. Idan later obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the same institution, studying from 2011 to 2015.
