Whitney Weller has worked in the technology industry for over 20 years. In 1998, they began their career as a Director of Product Management at Alcatel-Lucent, where they designed and implemented SONET, ATM, and CWDM optical network equipment solutions for CenturyLink, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and others. Whitney was also Director of Data Products, leading their team to deliver applications and sales resulting in $35M in enhanced optical terminal revenue, as well as negotiating a $150M DWDM supply agreement with Sprint and Sprint North Supply. In 2000, they moved to Confluent Photonics Inc. as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, where they directed all aspects of a project associated with MIT Lincoln Labs and launched a waveguide product at Optical Fiber Conference (OFC). In 2002, they became Director of Product Management and Business Development at Vectron International, where they built the sensor business, developed a program, budget, M&A, and market and competitive analysis. In 2006, they became Director of Business Development at L-3 Communications Security and Detection, directing the technology fusion program and integrating MMW personnel screening instruments. In 2008, they moved to QinetiQ North America as Director of Business Development and Product Management, winning a $12M contract with TSA and tracking performance and P&L for the program. In 2011, they founded AirFusion, setting up R&D, Project Management, and Product Management functions, as well as introducing SaaS, enterprise level data analytics software product to collect, interpret, and report infrastructure inspection data collected with UAS and drones. In 2020, they took on two roles, becoming CEO and Commodore at Portsmouth Yacht Club, and Vice President of Technology at mCloud Technologies Corp, where they are innovating and providing thought leadership in AI based asset monitoring. Finally, in 2022, they will become Vice President AI and IoT at Veea Inc.

Whitney Weller has a diverse educational background. Whitney received their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical and Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Prior to that, they attended the Bell Laboratories Training Center to study Business Administration Operations and General Management. Whitney also holds certifications in Business Planning, Design and Operations Management from Lucent Technologies Bell Labs Business Training, Project Management Professional from Bell Laboratories, and Software Development Project Management from Lucent Technologies Bell Labs.
