Chris Spencer

Chris Spencer is an experienced professional in product marketing and management, currently serving as VP of Product Marketing at Veeam Software since June 2018. In this role, Chris oversees a global team responsible for the Veeam Data Platform Portfolio, facilitating a significant business growth trajectory from $700M to over $1 billion. Prior experience includes leadership positions at companies like IBM, VMware, Rackspace, and Dell, where Chris successfully launched and managed various cloud and data protection services, as well as innovative hardware solutions. Chris holds an MBA in Product Marketing & Strategy from Texas McCombs School of Business, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and Clemson University, respectively. Additionally, Chris is an investor and owner of a rental property portfolio in central Texas.
