Masakiyo Furudate

Masakiyo Furudate is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as Vice President and Country Manager for Japan at Veeam Software since December 2017, where notable achievements include receiving the Geography of the Year award in 2019 and the Region of the Year award in 2022. Prior to Veeam, Furudate held the position of Vice President and Country Manager at F5 Networks from May 2015 to November 2017, earning recognition as the Theater Vice President and achieving the FY16 Best Theater of the Year accolade. Additional leadership roles include Senior Director and Japan Executive Officer at Red Hat (February 2011 - April 2015), Director and Japan Senior Officer at Microsoft (March 2005 - January 2011), and Sales Director at IBM from April 1984 to February 2005, focusing on the Technology Group in Korea and Japan.
