Michael Birney

Michael Birney is an experienced professional in channel business development and customer success, currently serving as Senior Director at Veeam Software since September 2016. Prior roles at Veeam included Director, Senior Manager, and Manager positions, focusing on renewals and customer relationships at a global level and within North America. Prior to Veeam, Michael worked at Softchoice as Territory Sales Representative, engaging with customers across the Northeastern U.S. to implement technology solutions, and as an Associate Sales Representative, building a book of business in Pennsylvania and New York. Michael holds a Political Science degree from Miami University, a B.S. in Business Administration from Capella University, and attended INSEAD for executive education in 2021.
