Daniel Shoichet

Daniel Shoichet is a Software Engineer currently working at Veeva Systems on the compass projected data products team since July 2023. Daniel has previous experience at Tesla as a Software Engineer on the engineering automation software team for a brief period in late 2022, and at Wealthsimple on the data platform team in the summer of 2022. Daniel also served as a General Executive at UofT AI from September 2020 to November 2021 and worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Bookmark from May 2021 to September 2021. Additional experience includes a software developer role at Herbs and Butters Skincare and an IT co-op Full Stack Developer position at Magellan Aerospace Limited in 2020. Earlier roles include lifeguarding at Fun Mountain Waterslide Park and serving as a swimming instructor substitute at Manitoba Marlins Swim Club. Daniel holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, completed in 2023, and graduated from Grant Park High School in 2019.
