Jacob Marcus

Jacob Marcus is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Veeva Systems since July 2020, where responsibilities include directing the development of the MyVeeva Digital Clinical Trials Product and recruiting founding engineers for a new product. Prior to this role, Jacob held various titles at Care.com, including Vice President of Engineering, overseeing all engineering functions and leading a significant transition from monolithic to micro-service architecture. Earlier career experiences include Senior Director of Engineering at Upromise, Director of Development, and roles at Iron Mountain and Wipro Technologies, culminating in over two decades of expertise in software engineering and product development. Jacob holds an MS in Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science and a BSc in Computer Science from Mahatma Gandhi University.
