Dakota Saunders

Dakota-Ray Saunders is an experienced educator with a robust background in early childhood teaching. Currently serving as a Kindergarten Teacher and CLDE Lead at Vega Collegiate Academy since June 2022, Dakota-Ray previously held positions at University Preparatory Schools as a Kindergarten Teacher, and Community Leadership Academy as a First Grade Teacher. Prior roles include Lead Teacher at Mile High Early Learning, Nanny, and Lead Preschool Teacher and Mentor at Educational Playcare. Dakota-Ray's educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education, a certification in Inclusive Practices in Early Childhood from the University of Colorado Denver, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Elementary Education from Charter Oak State College, and an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from CT State Naugatuck Valley.
