Kavinda P. Aththanagama

Kavinda P. Aththanagama is a Mechanical Engineer currently working at Vega Innovations since April 2023. Prior to this role, Kavinda served as the President of the Robotics Society at the University of Peradeniya from August 2020 to February 2023 and held various positions, including Mechanical Engineering R&D Intern at Hela Apparel Holdings and Junior Treasurer for the Inventors Club at the same university. Kavinda also contributed to SEDS Sri Lanka as an Assistant Manager in the Rover and Robotics Division and gained initial experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Vega Innovations. Kavinda earned an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Peradeniya from 2017 to 2022 and completed earlier education at Government Science College - Matale and St Thomas College, Matale.
