Pål Skeggs

Pål Skeggs has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Pål began their career at BP as a Public Affairs Assistant, where they were responsible for content creation and developing online solutions. Pål then worked at Talisman Energy Norge AS as an External Affairs Assistant and later as a Communication Advisor. Pål also worked at The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Cairo as an intern, where they reported on political and economic developments in Egypt and assisted in the planning of official visits.

In 2007, Pål joined Eclipse Energy Group AS as a Senior Business Support Specialist and stayed in that role until 2016. During this time, they contributed to the company's operations and provided valuable support.

After leaving Eclipse Energy Group AS, Pål worked at S&P Global Platts as a Lead Business Analyst in the UK Power & Gas division. Pål then joined Vega Insight in 2017 as a Senior Data Scientist and is currently in this position.

In 2001, they attended MI Stavanger where they pursued a degree in journalism. The following year, they continued their journalism studies at MI Oslo and completed their degree. In 2004, Pål attended the International Language Institute in Egypt, specializing in Arabic language and literature. Additionally, they spent time at the Yemen Language Center in the same year to further enhance their knowledge in the field. Pål also pursued academic interests in political science, political economy, and Arabic, undertaking courses in these subjects from 2003 to 2006.
