Stef Vanquickenborne

Stef Vanquickenborne is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the pharmaceutical and technology sectors. Currently, Stef serves as the Founder of Stepherd B.V., providing strategic consultancy for R&D, technology, and operations topics, while also holding the position of Chief Technology Officer at Ansana and Senior Advisor at Vegam Solutions. Previously, Stef held various vice president roles at Lonza from 2018 to 2023, overseeing R&D for capsules and health ingredients, as well as the chemical division. Prior to Lonza, Stef worked at Capsugel for over two decades in several senior R&D engineering roles. Stef's early career includes positions as a software development engineer and R&D engineer at Bureau van Dijk and Alcatel-Bell, respectively. Stef holds a Civil Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from KU Leuven and has further education from prestigious institutions, including Harvard Business School and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
