Josh Fenwick is a Graduate Regulatory Engineer at the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA) since February 2023, where Josh works within the Automated Vehicle Technologies Group. Previously, Josh worked at OVO as a Process Improvement Analyst from August 2014 to February 2023, and simple home services as a Managing Director from August 2011 to August 2014. Prior to that, Josh served as a Mechanical Engineer at Ausgustawestland from September 2009 to July 2011.

We are an Executive Agency of the Department for Transport and exist to improve vehicle safety and environmental protection by providing robust testing and certification to internationally recognised standards. Designated by the Secretary of State to discharge their statutory responsibility for operating national and UNECE type approval schemes, we approve most categories of new vehicles from locations in the UK and overseas. We have also been designated to act as the UK authority for the certification of packaging and intermediate bulk containers used for the transport of dangerous goods. With more than 40 years’ experience, we have become one of the largest and well-respected approval bodies around.
