Kevin Bridges possesses extensive experience in the automotive and regulatory sectors, currently serving as a Technical Manager at the Vehicle Certification Agency Europe since May 2012. Prior roles within the agency include Technical Support Manager and Technical Support Engineer. Prior to this, Kevin worked as a Traffic Examiner at the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency from May 2009 to May 2012, focusing on roadside driver’s hours checks and conducting operator visits. From April 2001 to November 2008, Kevin was the Managing Director of Model Reports.com, where responsibilities included creating model reports for the registration of imported vehicles in the UK. Kevin's foundational education was completed at Tideway Comprehensive in Newhaven between 1969 and 1974.

We are an Executive Agency of the Department for Transport and exist to improve vehicle safety and environmental protection by providing robust testing and certification to internationally recognised standards. Designated by the Secretary of State to discharge their statutory responsibility for operating national and UNECE type approval schemes, we approve most categories of new vehicles from locations in the UK and overseas. We have also been designated to act as the UK authority for the certification of packaging and intermediate bulk containers used for the transport of dangerous goods.
