Coen Baas

Coen Baas is an experienced professional in fire safety and risk management, with a career spanning over two decades in various capacities within Veiligheidsregio Hollands Midden and Brandweer Hollands Midden. Since January 2011, Coen has served as Officier van Dienst - Brandweer and Specialist Omgevingsveiligheid, focusing on advisory and analytical responsibilities related to complex construction applications, risk assessments, and policy development. Prior to this role, Coen held the position of Sr. Adviseur Risicobeheersing, emphasizing quality and knowledge sharing. Coen has also served as Bevelvoerder at post Waddinxveen, with extensive roles in firefighting, including as a local first responder and instructor.
