Robert van Rijn

Robert van Rijn currently serves as Directeur MBO Media at Mediacollege Amsterdam since February 2024. Additionally, Robert holds the position of Reserveofficier | Majoor in the Koninklijke Landmacht and works as a Regionaal Militair Operationeel Adviseur at Veiligheidsregio Hollands Midden, both since January 2021. Robert is also a guest lecturer on Political-Administrative Crisis Sensitivity at the Ministerie van Defensie and has been involved in various educational governance roles, including as Plv. Voorzitter and member of the Raad van Toezicht for both Dunamare Onderwijsgroep and SOVON. Prior positions include a leadership role at Gemeente Aalsmeer, where responsibilities included locoburgemeester and participation in several boards related to local governance and social initiatives. Robert's educational background includes advanced studies at the University of Groningen, Royal Military Academy, and Leiden University, among others, culminating in degrees that span law, business administration, and public affairs.
