Niels van Rijn

Niels van Rijn is a Frontend Web Developer at VeiligWerk | SafetyFirst since March 2022, with prior experience as a Junior Software Developer at Frankwatching from March 2021 to December 2021, where website maintenance and updates were key responsibilities. Niels completed a Traineeship as a Software Developer at Educom & Detacom from April 2020 to January 2021, gaining proficiency in PHP, Java, C#, and JavaScript for building web tools. Earlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at iwell, focusing on Linux system maintenance and automation using Shell scripts and Python, and as a Werkvoorbereiding at Duurzaam TS, where calculations for PV system installations were performed. Niels also contributed to automating maintenance schedules at Endres during an internship in 2016. Niels holds a degree from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, obtained in 2019.
